Brighter and more immediate than its predecessor, with a chorus that lands on first listen. The lightness is a decoy. Underneath it sits an ironic reading of danger arriving from the direction nobody is watching, which is the sort of double level the band keeps returning to. Four months separated it from Mother Green and her Killing Machine, a measured release pace for a group still building an audience outside France.
