The Start of Lonely – Waves of Defeat

Minnesota modern rock and post-hardcore project Waves of Defeat, the solo work of Eric Jensen, release The Start of Lonely on 14 October 2026. The single follows You’re Not the Only One and keeps the project’s premise: heavy music carrying a direct message about anxiety, depression and not being alone. The artist sent two versions to The Next Radio, the full 4:14 cut and a 3:12 radio edit. Submitted directly to The Next Radio by the artist.
