Bitten Once is the first new single from Canadian singer-songwriter Madison Galloway since her second self-titled album in 2024. Taking the classic saying “once bitten, twice shy,” the song swaps apprehension for revenge: the woman in the story turns confident and snake-like, going from prey to predator. It is a punchy garage-rock anthem, reminiscent of a high school pop-punk band.

Galloway began with a debut EP in 2015 and released the album Moon & Mercury in 2019, earning a spot as a finalist in the Blues & Roots Radio International Song Contest. She was named Southern Rock Artist of the Year at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville in 2023, has toured the UK with The Commoners, and hosts a live acoustic podcast every weekend.
