I Wanna Stay In The City

I Wanna Stay In The City is the opening track of Funeral Fund, the debut album from Athens rock and roll quintet Dismiss, released on 22 May 2026. Plugger Brian Heason picked it as the lead, pointing to its very early Guns N’ Roses feel.

Formed in 2021, Dismiss fuse classic rock nostalgia, punk energy and a 2000s alternative edge into one of the most energetic live shows on the Greek scene. The band, fronted by vocalist Jo with the unusual touch of Monica handling both bass and vocals, back the single with a second UK tour booked for July 2026.
