The Weight

Second single from II, the Port Orchard heavy rock trio’s forthcoming album, out 18 September 2026. “The Weight” is meaner and dirtier than the preceding “Avaleigh”, a southern-tinged sludge groove aimed at the disappointment of life getting harder as the American dream curdles. Tony Reed of Mos Generator produced, recorded, mixed and mastered the record at APL and Heavy Head Recording Co., and plays bass on it following the loss of Jeremy Reede.
