Bedford
Bedford is a power trio rock band born and raised in Eastern Kentucky and now based in Lexington, KY. The lineup is Tristan Frazier on vocals and drums, Samuel May on vocals and bass, and Colin Michael on guitar. The band has won Best Rock Band five times at the Lexington Music Awards and has opened for national acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Red Clay Strays. Their 2025 album Troubled showcases a style that resists genre boxes, ranging from heavy guitar rock to nods at reggae and Kentucky roots music. The 2026 single 1867 highlights this versatility with a reggae-tinged groove and a clear influence from The Police, with some Green Day energy in the rhythm section.
