Green Desert Water

Green Desert Water is an Asturian trio that has spent over a decade working the intersection of stoner rock, heavy psych and grunge. The current lineup of Kike Sanchis (guitar, vocals), Juan Arias (bass) and Dani Barcena (drums) was cemented on Black Harvest (2021), the record that established them as one of the most enjoyable live bands on the Spanish heavy rock scene. Eerie Meadows, their third album for Small Stone Recordings, arrived on 19 June 2026. Across eight tracks and a deliberately concise 37 minutes, the band fuses dense psychedelia with melodies rooted in the 1970s, delivering both the force of grunge and a loose boogie swing. The band set out to explore the duality between the heavy and the ethereal, the fog, the ancient forests and the feeling of finding a home in nature. Recording in a new studio was the challenge they set themselves to push the sound further. From the opening journey of Northern Lights to the closing Meteora, the album moves through loss, primal power and spiritual survival. The foundation stays anchored in the classics, Mountain, Sabbath, Sasquatch, but the record is executed with hard-earned confidence and purpose.
