Mr Bison

Mr Bison is a rock band that melts heavy psychedelic sounds with progressive elements and evocative soundscapes. Formed in a small coastal town in Tuscany, Italy, the band has reinvented its sound across a run of albums, moving from stoner and psych towards a broader heavy psychedelic progressive language. They established themselves firmly in 2018 with the acclaimed "Holy Oak" and again in 2020 with the concept album "Seaward", which took them touring around Europe and the United States many times over, playing the best festivals on the scene. Their album "Echoes From The Universe" arrived in February 2024 via Heavy Psych Sounds and was followed by more than 120 gigs across Europe, a West Coast tour of the United States and dates in the UK. The record was named one of the best albums of the year by international media and critics, and placed among the top positions of the World Doom Charts, selected from more than 2000 albums released in 2024. The band's new concept album, "The Garden Of Forgotten Dreams", is out on 25 September 2026 via Heavy Psych Sounds. It was produced and recorded by guitarist Matteo Barsacchi, mixed by Richard Behrens (Elder, Kadavar, Samsara Blues Experiment) at Big Snuff Studio in Berlin, and mastered by Carl Saff in Chicago and Adam Ayan (Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam) in Portland. Mr Bison are confirmed for Stoned From The Underground, Blackdoor Fest and other major festivals, and tour Europe and the UK from 14 October to 15 November 2026. The band is Matteo Barsacchi (guitar, bass, synth), Matteo Sciocchetto (guitar, bass, voice), Lorenzo Salvadori (drums) and Davide Salvadori (acoustic guitars, synth, Hammond, mellotron, bass).
