Pil & Bue

Pil & Bue is a Norwegian duo of Petter Carlsen (guitar and vocals, the arrow) and Goeran Johansen (drums, the bow). Their album You Have Chosen Darkness arrived on Tiger Records, following three prior studio albums since 2017. Their deep fusion of metal and melodic, pop-leaning dynamics is driven by Carlsen's uninhibited voice. Metal Hammer UK called them much more than the sum of their parts, with subtle references to Metallica, Radiohead, A Perfect Circle, Anathema and Mars Volta.
