Sick Things

Sick Things are a hard rock quartet from Quebec, Canada, built around the twin guitar and vocal attack of Cam Turin (vocals, guitars) and Keith Turin (guitars), with Patrick Bennett on bass and Matt Gonzalez on drums and percussion. Their standout album Too Beaucoup arrived on 16 May 2025 and quickly became one of the most talked about hard rock releases of the year, praised for being wall to wall hooks with no filler, big riffs and tight playing from start to finish. The band name nods straight to the Alice Cooper cut Sick Things from 1973, and that theatrical edge meets a classic Thin Lizzy swing carried by modern vocals. The album shipped only one official single, Waste My Time, even though promoters argued it could have spawned five or six, with deep cuts like Pale Rider hitting just as hard. The band planned to return to the studio in summer 2025 with more music to follow.
