The Boy That Got Away

The Boy That Got Away is an alternative rock trio from Aarhus, Denmark, formed in 2014. Across three albums they have fused 90s grunge and heavy stoner-rock with a dark, melodic Scandinavian edge. Drawing comparisons to acts like Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, they are celebrated for their conviction, riff-heavy guitars, and rough, emotive vocal delivery. The lineup is Tim Alvin Bostrom (vocals, guitar), Mathias Gregersen (bass) and Mark Lauersen (drums). Their 2026 single "The One" is the first taste of a forthcoming album, with more singles planned in the meantime.
