The Sonic Rootz

The Sonic Rootz is a blues/rock band made up of three siblings with a startling level of musical maturity. At 18, 14, and 11 years old, their command of the genre makes them a genuinely singular act on the international scene. Their debut album, "The Electric Babies Revolution", released in July 2023 on vinyl and CD, marked a historic milestone: the band became the youngest to have written, arranged, and produced a complete album of original material, drawing coverage from RAI and Corriere della Sera. The band formed in June 2020, when Diego, then nine years old, composed their first song, "Nothing to Lose". Diego (born 2011) leads on vocals, guitar, and piano; Davide (born 2007) plays drums; Amanda (born 2014) plays electric bass and sings backing vocals. On 21 December 2024 they recorded a live album at an iconic Liverpool club, "Feel Like Makin' LIVE", praised by David Coverdale and Paul Rodgers. They have played the Campania Theatre Festival at the Palazzo Reale in Naples and opened for Blackberry Smoke at Milan's Comfort Festival. Their second album, three years in the making, features ten new originals mixed in Los Angeles by Mike Tacci.
