The Whisper

The Whisper is a soul-rock band based in Barcelona, Spain. After two years of playing covers together in a trio that started in 2022, James Vieco, Juan Garcia and Arturo Zayas decided it was time to put their chemistry to good use and write their own material. From a collection of songs James had shared with the band, they picked four to start a production, arranging and recording everything themselves over the following months. The result was the EP Silence, mixed and mastered at Grabaciones Sumergidas in Cadiz and released on 12 May 2025. Their music is a mix of classic soul and rock built on a songwriter scheme, with a modern touch that can please fans of John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young and Tedeschi Trucks Band at the same time. The Whisper is the side project of James Vieco, guitarist and singer of Spanish stoner rock band Saturna. Whatever You Do, released on 28 August 2026, is the first single and lead track from their debut full length album Find A Way In. Discovered via Brian Heason (HBM Promotions / Music Plugger).
