Trip

Trip is a French rock quartet that reconnects with the electric energy of the 1970s through a contemporary lens. The band frames itself with a nuclear fusion metaphor: four atoms colliding in a reactor to create an extraordinarily efficient form of energy, carbon free, controllable and infinitely renewable. Their sound draws on Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac and Frank Zappa, but never stays anchored in nostalgia, with clear marks from Jack White, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Rival Sons. Trip treats rock as a form of dialogue, reconnecting with the power of classic rock while reflecting on our present relationship with modern technology.
