The night before Halloween
MTELUS on the last Friday of October, with its high balconies and a floor that bounces, is made for exactly this kind of show. Rain City Drive and Shyeye opened, and then Sleeping With Sirens took the stage with a new record to defend.
Sleeping With Sirens have been part of the soundtrack of post-hardcore for more than fifteen years, and Kellin Quinn’s voice is still the reason they keep filling rooms like this one.
An Ending In Itself
This tour is built around An Ending In Itself, a record that shows a band that has grown up without losing the urgency that made them. Hearing the new songs next to the ones that defined their early years is the best test for any band with a long history, and Sleeping With Sirens pass it.
“A band that has grown up without losing the urgency that made them.”
One more for the year
This was one of my last shows of 2026, and a perfect way to close October in Montreal. The full setlist of this night has not been published yet; I will add it here as soon as it is.
Sleeping With Sirens still own their corner of heavy music, and Montreal showed up for them.
