Spiralling
Spiralling is the second single from Derby blues rock band Beggars Bliss, and a deliberately darker turn after the sunny swing of Train Song. Where the debut leaned into joy, this one comes from a heavier place, a song about the moment life gets on top of you and control starts to slip.
Released on 31 October 2025, Spiralling marks the point where keyboardist Milly Ayesha steps up to share lead vocals with Henry John, giving the track a two voice push and pull that deepens its sense of unease. The bluesy Midlands rock foundation stays intact, but the mood is stormier and more cinematic.
The single landed as Beggars Bliss were selected for the finals of the Call Of The Wild festival, another rung on a fast climb that ran from local Derby stages to the band’s self titled debut album in 2026. Spiralling shows a young band willing to follow a song somewhere uncomfortable rather than repeat a winning formula.
