Hysteria

Hysteria is the first new material in years from Jeye T, the Scottish indie rock project of John Tierney. The track was recorded around fifteen years ago with producer Paul Tipler, whose credits include Idlewild and Elastica, and with Libertines drummer Gary Powell sitting in on the session, but it was never officially released at the time. Tierney has now brought it out as part of a wider rediscovery of the Jeye T catalogue, choosing to keep the project’s visual identity deliberately mysterious while letting the song, and its long-delayed backstory, speak for themselves.
