Jeye T

Jeye T is the musical identity of Scottish singer-songwriter John Tierney. Originally from Motherwell, Tierney emerged from the Scottish indie scene after catching the attention of Alan McGee, founder of Creation Records. He went on to release music through 25 Hour Convenience Store, the label founded by Gary Powell, drummer of The Libertines, who also played drums on Jeye T's recordings. Jeye T received coverage from NME and Louder Than War, played T in the Park, and performed at venues including Glasgow's legendary King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. Former Oasis guitarist Bonehead also joined him on stage for the release of the Telescopic Eye EP. After a period away from releasing music, Tierney returned to Jeye T in 2026, choosing to keep the project's visual side deliberately mysterious.
