Bitter Luck

Bitter Luck rose in 2025 in the Washington D.C. area after the dissolution of The Mojo Aces. Singer Ean Eschenburg and drummer Eric Levy reunited with new bandmates Andrei Wells on guitar and Will Gies on bass to chase a heavier, more progressive direction. Their debut single "Haunted Hills" arrived 8 August 2025, recorded by Ben Green at Ivakota Recording in D.C., and was followed within months by the five-track EP "Show Your Hand" with "No Vanity" as the lead track. By May 2026 the band returned with the new single "Drag", a teaser for a second EP planned for late 2026. The sound blends classic American hard rock with the technical bite of Rush and The Winery Dogs, anchored by Eschenburg powerful and versatile vocals and Wells riff-heavy guitar work.
