Kathleen Halloran
Melbourne-based guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Kathleen Halloran spent years as one of Australian music's most in-demand sidewomen before stepping out as a solo artist. Brian Heason calls her "one of the most fascinating new voices coming out of Australia" and adds the telling descriptor: "She's a shredder." Live she has shared stages with Ash Grunwald, Jon Stevens (Noiseworks/INXS), Felix Riebl (The Cat Empire), Kate Ceberano, Mahalia Barnes (Jimmy Barnes), Katie Noonan, Ian Moss, Troy Cassar-Daley, Iva Davies and Slava Grigoryan, and currently supports Ash Grunwald on tour while balancing the sold-out Jon Stevens and Kate Ceberano "Superstars Live" national tour. Festivals: Melbourne Guitar Show, Adelaide Guitar Festival, Noosa Guitar Festival, St Kilda Blues and Melbourne International Jazz. Debut single 'Free With Me' (29 November 2024) was produced by Ross Irwin (The Bamboos, Cat Empire, Paul Kelly) and engineered by Ben Edgar (Gotye, Angus and Julia Stone, Matt Corby). Third single 'Showstopper' (22 April 2026) is the moody blues-rock anchor of her debut full-length album, due 8 May 2026. — Brian Heason HBM Promotions/Music Plugger https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100055158889895 "Music is a great energizer.
