The Bateleurs
Portuguese blues rock quartet led by powerhouse vocalist Sandrine Orsini, with new guitarist Ricardo Galrao bringing deep slide-guitar texture (he replaced Marco Reis in 2024). Their sound moves between minimalist heavy blues and stoner-tinged riffs with epic, narrative choruses. New album 'A Light In The Darkness' (released 1 October 2025) is the band's most ambitious work yet — singles 'For All To See' (March 2025), 'A Price For My Soul' (June 2025) and 'Best Of Days' (April 2026) trace its arc. The name 'Bateleurs' refers to an African eagle, hinting at their pan-international identity: Portuguese band singing in English, taking blues out of its American root and pushing it through European rock club circuits. Recent stages alongside Dirty Honey, Dea Matrona and Her Name Is Fire. 22-date 'A Light In The Darkness' tour across Spain and Portugal announced for 2026, with more dates being added. — Brian Heason HBM Promotions/Music Plugger https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100055158889895 "Music is a great energizer.
