Always On

Always On is the latest high octane single from Ten Eighty Trees, one of the hardest touring underground alt rock acts in the UK. The band wrote it out of a stretch of never being able to switch off, stuck in a constant fight-or-flight headspace, and used the song to process that restlessness, pulling on the heavier, groove-driven side of Queens of the Stone Age alongside the big, emotional alt rock of Nothing But Thieves. The result is a track built to pull the listener out of their own head for a few minutes, exactly the kind of relief the band was chasing when they wrote it.
