Ten Eighty Trees
Ten Eighty Trees is a turquoise-clad alternative rock band from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England. Originally a trio, the band has recently transitioned to a stripped-down duo configuration after their bass player stepped aside, with a new bassist about to be sworn in. Their sound draws heavy inspiration from the alt-rock icons of the '90s and '00s (Weezer, Foo Fighters, Dinosaur Pile-Up) and Brian Heason has flagged a Royal Blood / Biffy Clyro edge in the recent singles. Live shows pair ferocious musicianship with unfiltered emotion. They have shared stages with Sundara Karma, Sparta and We Are Scientists, and played festivals including Kendal Calling, Stockton Calling and Tramlines Fringe alongside their own self-promoted day festival Treevolution in Tyneside. The 2025-2026 single arc (Don't Quit, Broken (goodbye), The Family Secret) traces a clear pivot toward heavier, more visceral songwriting.
