Broken (goodbye) is a January 2026 single from Newcastle alt-rock outfit Ten Eighty Trees, released on 16 January 2026. It is the point where plugger Brian Heason heard the band leaning into a Royal Blood and Biffy Clyro vibe, as the trio reshaped itself into a harder-hitting duo.

The band call it a song about the uncomfortable aftermath of loss and change, finding new purpose in the spaces left behind, and their most sincere, anthemic work yet. It is fuzz, grit and melody from a group whose every release since the lineup shift has sounded more aggressive than the last.
